Gridiron Grind Training was founded on the pure love of the sport of football, and wanting to pass the same passion and intensity down to the next generation of football players in order to help them succeed.
Founder John J. McArdle has been coaching football for over 10 years. He was President of Whitepoint Youth Football and Cheer prior to receiving his dream opportunity as head coach of the JV Football team at Holy Cross High School, his Alma Mater. He was also asked to step in as a Wide Receiver Coach for the NY Boldest, a semi-professional Football team. He spent many off-seasons running camps and clinics for the local youth in order to keep the student athletes in shape, out of trouble and progressing their skills and knowledge.
Coach McArdle recently moved out to Long Island and stepped down as the Head Coach at Holy Cross to be closer to home so he could be more involved with his family and local community. When news began to travel about his resignation, many of his past athletes reached out to him, asking if he could offer private training sessions for them to get to the next level. His love and obsession with this sport, and his passion for coaching resulted in the birth of Gridiron Grind Training.
